Every thorn has a rose...

This is my note to the pet professionals out there, and while it may be a motivational post that some of you can take some snippets out of im just here to help those similar to me in this particular blog.

We've all heard the sayings 'every thorn has a rose' and 'every cloud has a silver lining', and generally the consensus from these is that while something may be negative there is always something positive to come from it.

While i wont go in to particular detail across the past year we have lost clients through various reasoning - an aggressive dog, disagreement with the owners, change in circumstances, moving house. Various reasons, so while its always rubbish when you lose a client you then have room to replace them. All our recent clients we have brought on to replace the ones we have lost have been absolutely amazing, amazing dogs and amazing owners. It means better relationships between us both to come.

So while sometimes it may be hard to not take it personally when things go wrong or you lose a client for whatever reason remember to find the bright side in it. It means you have room for better clients! Room to expand in different ways, and if you dont replace them there its more time for yourself!

Because i know myself let alone you and i know we work HARD. It may not be seen by everyone but we burn out alot, so ok you may be one client down but thats one hour a week you can have to rest. Catch up on life, go to the gym, do things for you that you may not have been doing because life is hard.

I'm not usually one for affirmations, but i am one for making yourself believe. If you tell yourself it will be ok, you will subconsiouscly make it ok in some sort of way.
