So that happened....

Let's be clear on something...

Having been involved in an incident with an off lead dog and a clients dog (thankfully fine)...

If your dog is off lead and runs over to other dogs after stalking them, this doesnt make them well socialised and friendly.

If your dog then proceeds to try hump the other dog and gets aggressive when it gets pulled off the other dog, it is not well socialised and friendly.

Your dogs age doesnt warrant bad behaviour, or make an acceptable excuse on this type of behaviour.

Your dog stalking and jumping on another dog IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR.

You argued that your dog only reacted because my clients dog did, well lets paint this picture for you. If you're out enjoying a nice peaceful walk and someone starts walking strangely towards you and then jumps on your back how're you going to feel? Its not going to be nice. Just because its a dog does not mean its any different.

A black dog sits on a cobblestone alley with a red "No Dogs" sign overlaid. An orange cone is nearby. The setting is urban and soft-lit.

Your dog caused this issue and this couldve easily been avoided, and in all honesty you are bloody lucky it happened to me. Someone who knows dogs and someone who knows how to handle a situation, because you did fuck all.

If you cant be bothered to train your dog then dont have one.

Accidents happen, i understand that. But to get defensive rather than apologise when your dog has attacked another dog then you are the problem.

This incident has been reported to the police as the dog has caused injuries to me, yes the potential of injuries come with the job

but generally being faced by clients dogs. I shouldnt have to do that with the general public. There was a witness who seen it all, who seen your dog rush over off lead and cause the problem.
